In this unprecedented time, the Food Pantries of the Capital District is maintaining the highest service levels in their history and need our support more than ever. More than 1 in 10 people in the Capital District don't know where their next meal will come from. Some seek out the food pantry in the event of a crisis and some to alleviate a chronic state of food insecurity.
With more than 65 pantries throughout Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady counties, the Food Pantries serve over 65,000 community members. CANstruction and other food and fund drives help provide much needed food to our neighbors.
This is our 11th year participating in Capital Region CANstruction. Last year, Team Mosaic raised over $8,000 which allowed us to donate over 8,000 food items and $3,800 to the Food Pantries. This year, the pandemic has brought many changes--like no build day--but Team Mosaic is more energized than ever to be Hunger Heroes.
Please join us in fighting hunger and food insecurity by making a donation to Team Mosaic before February 12, 2021! Every dollar donated can provide up to 6 lbs of food.
We will recognize our Corporate Sponsors on our Social Media accounts. Your tax-deductible donation will go directly to the Food Pantries.
